Day 1 :    Arrival in Melbourne
On arriving at the Melbourne International Airport, after clearing immigration, you will be met by our Joy Travels representative who will escort you to your hotel. You will have the first day of your Melbourne Penguins and Great Ocean Road tour free to relax, or indulge in shopping  or sightseeing (at your own cost). Melbourne has many splendid tourist landmarks including: the World Heritage Site of the Royal Exhibition Building; Fawkner Park with beautiful walkways; Melbourne Museum, National Gallery of Victoria, Albert Lake Park and its’ elegant black swans; and, Birrarung Marr with river promenades. A trip to see vineries in the Yarra Valley, dinner cruises down the Yarra River, and time spent at St Kilda Foreshore’s long sandy beach, are all worth the effort. There are malls, shopping districts, and boutiques for shoppers; while Melbourne’s restaurants, cafes, bistros, pubs, and wine bars, cater to travellers from all over the world. Day 2 :    Melbourne
After breakfast, you will be going for a full-day tour in Melbourne city combined with a trip to Phillip Island and the Penguin Parade (Tour #387), which is a 20-minute drive from the bridge to Phillip Island, where you can see the penguins waddling home. In Phillip Island, you will get acquainted with the Australian wildlife – kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, seals, and penguins. Overnight at hotel in Melbourne.

Day 3 :    Melbourne
Following breakfast, you will be embarking on a full-day Great Ocean Road Tour (Tour #396), which appears in the Australian National Heritage list. One of the best coastal drives in the world, the road meanders along rainforests, beaches and limestone cliffs in Victoria’s south-eastern coastland. It passes by Bass Strait, the Southern Ocean, Angelsea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, and Port Campbell’s astonishing limestone and sandstone landmarks including: The Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Arch, and The Grotto.  Overnight at hotel in Melbourne.

Day 4 :    Departure from Melbourne
Post-breakfast, you will be checking-out of the hotel for your scheduled departure to the Melbourne Airport to catch the flight for your onward destination.
