Travel the city to closely experience life trends in this global, historical and fashionable city, which is dotted with innumerable historic and aesthetically built landmarks. The journey may take the newly weds to London’s Kew Gardens, the Tower of London, Greenwich, and, Westminster Abbey together with Westminster Palace and St. Margaret’s Church, declared as World Heritage Sites.  The famed 10 Downing Street – the British PM’s residence, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Wimbledon – the tennis mecca, London Eye gives a spectacular view of the city. St. Paul’s Cathedral, besides several museums – including Madame Tussauds – and galleries are all an integral part of the city.  London has its share of several beautiful parks – Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, Primrose Hill and Kensington Gardens are some of them, displaying the integrity of this graceful city. The world-famous British Museum showcases exhibits from prehistoric to modern times and the highlights include the Rosetta stone, the Parthenon sculptures, and the Mummies in the Ancient Egypt collection. The honeymooners would never miss a visit to the Buckingham Palace, one of the world's few remaining working regal royal Palaces,  to get besotted with some of the greatest possessions from the Royal Collection, plus a spectacular display of diamonds!

The Royal Opera House, Royal Albert Hall and Trinity College of Music are renowned for vibrant and fiesta dance and music, as well as some significant and relevant opera, and tourists can attend a gala performance of their choice.   London also hosts several pop and rock concerts and the Covent Garden is known for its street performances by singers and mime artists. Another store, Harrods is in the city’s south-west area..  Liberty and Harvey Nichols is some of the other well-known department stores.  For luxury shopping there’s Tiffany and Co., and Westfield has two stores – in West London and Stratford.  The Dover Street has several retail shops, surrounded by art galleries where the art aficionado can pick up paintings and decos, as well as boutiques, malls and outlets where they can buy just about anything, including gourmet and eco-friendly shopping.

Cuisine:
Soho has plenty of eateries and pubs, where Chinatown is famous for Chinese food, and Brick Lane has Bangladeshi cuisine.  There are innumerable restaurants serving traditional Indian cuisine all over London including Bloomsbury, Chelsea, Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Marylebone, Kensington, Notting Hill, Islington, Covent Garden, East, North and North-west London. Christopher’s Place, off Oxford Street, has numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bars serving French, Spanish, Italian and Japanese cuisine.  The Kensington Roof Garden in Kensington High Street offers a nouvea experience – al fresco dining – where tourists can dine on a terrace, and meander through a Tudor garden and a Spanish garden, walking past a stream or a pond with flamingos and ducks.  In Hyde Park, the Serpentine Bar Kitchen offers seasonal dishes, home-made ice-cream, sandwiches and afternoon tea. Heddon Street in the West End has several eateries with pavement dining where tourists can relax amidst olive and palm trees.  Le Coq d’Argent serves classic French food.  The beautiful St. James Park has Inn the Park, which serves traditional as well as modern food.  In Shad Thames, with the pretty river-side and Tower Bridge views, Le Pont da la Tour serves French food and Butler’s Wharf Chop House serves roast mutton, fish and chips, All Bar One has pub fare, and the Design’s Museum serves sandwiches.  There are many pubs in the areas around Greenwich, Clapham South, Shepherd’s Bush, Hampstead Heath, Richmond, and close to Regent’s Park.  Besides, there are pub theatres, beer gardens, karaoke bars and champagne bars, to bring that tingle of excitement in the palate on the London Honeymoon Package!

Climate:
London has a temperate oceanic climate – summers are warm with the global warming impact, and spring and autumn are pleasant.   It snows during winter, between December-February, lending the city a white frosted landscape, with March-April having a smooth cold wave.  Though it rains a lot and there are extreme temperatures, the honeymooners may plan their escapade to this city, during any season of the year!
