The Avondale Sunday Market is  very popular.  The Victoria Park Market has a a treasure trove of things to buy including Kiwi tee-shirts and Tiki key-rings.  The Otara Market has fashionable clothing, food and music ,while Zambesi, the best regional brand of clothing, is sought after by celebrities all over.  Marvel caters to men, using interesting fabrics for smart shirts,  trousers and trendy party-wear.  Native Agent, has Maori-made knick-knacks, besides clothes and jewellery. Fingers, is a gallery featuring craftsmanship of some jewellers who created innovative ornaments made of precious metals, stones, shells and fabric; while the Royal Jewellery Studio has authentic and exquisitely-designed Maori jewellery.

Cuisine:

Climate:

Auckland experiences an oceanic clime making for pleasant, sunny summers, and cold, damp winters.  It rains heavily throughout the year, but more during winters.  Snow is rare and climatic conditions within the city depend on the nearness to the sea and hilly areas, and the stillness and serenity of the early morning at sunrise could take the honeymooners to revel in the breeze as they take a walk on land or around the sea-side.
